Their credit needs often require tailor-made products and services, which a nimble bank like NIBC can deliver in a cost-efficient way. Enterprising clients need enterprising products and services. We shape innovative solutions for corporate clients, financial institutions, institutional investors, financial sponsors, and high net worth entrepreneurs/owners. We’re not afraid to challenge our clients’ thinking: often we surprise them with an inventive product combination that they - and our rivals - hadn’t thought of.

Merchant Banking is one of our two strategic pillars. Its expertise is in helping its core client mid-cap companies grow, using our established ‘triple play’ model of advising, financing and co-investing. Our coverage bankers maintain long-term relationships with clients and use their knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities across all business units.

Specialised Finance, our second strategic pillar, is active in a select group of asset classes where its expertise gives it a competitive advantage. Those segments include corporate lending, leveraged finance, oil & gas services, infrastructure & renewable financing, real estate and shipping.
